What is an embossed business card? Typically, it has the logo or some parts of the business card that has a raise or sunk in effect from the paper.
Mostly common seen ones are the logo would be embossed or someone's name is embossed. The process to make an embossed card is not as easy as just printing the card.
- First, you need to purchase a die, depending on the embossing area is, the die could range from $100.00 to a few hundred dollars. This process typically takes about 3 to 5 days.
- Second, the business cards will be printed.
- Third, the business cards will be running through the die to create the embossed look.
- Lastly, it will be cut to size and box.
Is it expensive to have embossed business cards? Usually, they run about twice as much as a regular set of business cards. Of course, this is just a general guideline so you can budget.
